A new lumbar assist seating system developed for underground mine employees working loaders and haul trucks has caused in decreased injuries and stress.
Perth-based Modern Motor Trimmers (MMT), which specializes in suspension seats and seating products for the mining market, spent over five years modifying the pneumatically-operated twin air lumbar support.
The 2 stage lumbar system is incorporated into the backrest of an ISRI premium-quality T-backed seat.
