A Gift basket idea with a theme makes sense.  Choose a theme based on the different likes and special interests of the person you are giving it to.  Use a bit of creative flair with this by asking good friends (who can keep a secret) for ideas too.

Buy small toys, gifts, goodies, and anything else that seems appropriate and fitting for your basket that fits your theme.  My husband golf’s and loves tools too, but he is a sports nut and techno geek too – that doesn’t mean he likes all the gizmos and gadgets.  He does like expensive, and trendy though, so that’s what he gets for birthdays and holiday celebrations.
