Father’s day thoughts bring mixed emotions for me, because my dad is gone . . .
You would think the moon and sun sat on our heads when dad was around. I always tried to give Dad his favorite Gift: Tools
Father’s Day lets me remember dad with the gift of flowers. I won’t go to a grave, where he lays stone cold – Not even since he was buried. I go to a bird sanctuary or a lake or river or a meadow and I take flowers with me and leave them there. That’s where my dad would be. Dad would be outside with nature and enjoying the gift of time with us.

You might be able to find a suitable wodoen crates at a craft store and fill it will something like potting moss then arrange your fruit in it.
Cover it with tinted cellophane (also at a craft store), and tie a nice cloth ribbon around it.
You could also arrange into a nice kettle or cooking pot.
A nice plastic storage container that’s transparent could be dressed up.
Even a wire mesh office garbage can would work.
You could check out the housewares and office supply areas of your local department stores to get some ideas too.
